 There is not a hotter name in sports collectibles than Stephen Strasburg. The talented pitcher has not disappointed in his first five starts. Collectibles relating to Strasburg are being snapped up by collectors. This article looks at a few examples of prices realized for Strasburg collectibles on June 29, 2010 on EBay.

Under $20

 There are a few Strasburg items available under $20. A 2010 Bowman Expectations insert sold for $4.24. A program for the 2009 National USA Baseball Team brought $5.79. Strasburg was on the cover of the program. A 2010 Bowman Topps 100 insert sold for $6.00. A ticket stub from his first game sold for $16.51.

Under $100

 Several items are available under $100. They include a red Nationals Strasburg jersey that sold for $35. A 2010 Bowman Chrome #BCP1 sold for $36. The Chrome card is probably the most widely available Strasburg card right now. A 2010 Topps Ecard sold for $45. A 2009 UD Team USA card sold for $99.99.

Over $100

 There are several options if you want to spend over $100. A 2010 Bowman Chrome Purple Refractor sold for $140. The purple refractor is numbered out of 999. A signed ticket stub from his first start sold for $147. The stub was authenticated by GAI. An autographed official league baseball sold for $400. The ball is authenticated by Topps. A 2010 Bowman autograph sold for $710. A 2010 Bowman Chrome Orange Refractor sold for $850. The orange refractor is numbered out of 25. A 2008 UD Team USA autograph card sold for $1100. The highest price was for a graded BGS 9.5 2010 Bowman autograph card. It sold for $1199.99.

The variety of Strasburg items will continue to grow as more baseball card products are released. He will also be on programs, bobbleheads, pins, jerseys and countless other items. Shop wisely and don't be impulsive. There will be some bargains available if you look for them. Strasburg looks like he is the real deal so he should be collectible for a long time.
